Like most website operators, HeronThemes collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request.

HeronThemes’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how HeronThemes’s visitors use its website. From time to time, HeronThemes may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

HeronThemes also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on WordPress.com blogs.

HeronThemes only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses and email addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.

Personal Information

 It's your data

Certain visitors to HeronThemes choose to interact with HeronThemes in ways that require HeronThemes to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that HeronThemes gathers depends on the nature of the interaction.

Those who engage in transactions with HeronThemes – by purchasing our Theme Setup service, for example – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions.

In each case, HeronThemes collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with HeronThemes. HeronThemes does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Again, we do not store your credit card, ever.

If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users.

HeronThemes takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
